The owner is keen to harness natural resources where possible, and the cottage boasts a rainwater harvester serving the toilets, washing machine and outside taps, and solar powered water heating. It is only just over 2 miles from the Georgian sailing town of Lymington, and slightly less than two from the New Forest village of Brockenhurst, both of which have plenty of pubs and restaurants, and of course lots of shops and other places of interest. Brockenhurst is on the main line from London Waterloo to Bournemouth/Weymouth, and is only 1hr.20mins. from Waterloo. There are several excellent riding establishments close by where you can arrange a variety of lessons, or simply lovely hacks out in the Forest. You can also hire bicycles in Brockenhurst from a very professional shop providing a comprehensive service, and we have cover if you bring your own or keep hired ones overnight.

Wonderful rural location, just opposite The Hobler Inn (100 yards down our drive) and only 3/4mile from The Filly Inn or The Red Lion, all friendly old Forest pubs serving good food.
